3 gorgeous Spring Wedding Colour palette ideas

Moodboard with lilac and pink flowers and cake
Spring is a season of new beginnings, fresh starts, and beautiful flowers. When creating Spring wedding inspiration, start by selecting a colour palette that reflects the season. Pastel colours like light pink, baby blue, and mint green are popular choices, as are bright and bold colours like fuchsia, coral, and yellow. If you are wondering what is the best colour scheme, here are 3 gorgeous Spring inspired colour palettes ideas for your wedding.

1. Lilacs and Pinks - Spring Wedding Colour palette

Spring weddings are all about lightness and airness. This design (pictured above) is delicate, natural and light using lilac as the main colour within the palette, with subtle pink and ivory accents and shimmering tones. It creates an elegant, romantic style. The table would be the focus point, which is where your wedding guests spend most of your time, with a striking low, floral runner to add drama and colour.

If you want to enhance the luxe feel, add pretty candles, gorgeous soft table linen and colourful wine glasses or napkins to make your table stand out. This striking palette could be used in a stunning country house wedding venue, Georgian town house with natural light interiors and exquisite features.

2. Peaches and cream - Spring Wedding Colour palette

Spring is the season of blooming flowers, so its essential to incorporate them into your wedding inspiration. This design is soft, peachy and contemporary it fully embraces Spring flowers.

I suggest using an abundance of fresh flowers in your centrepieces, bouquets and striking ceremony backdrops, to create an impact.

Your wedding cake, also provides an excellent opportunity to get creative such as using real or sugar flowers (that match your bouquet or centrepieces) to decorate your cake.

You could enhance this theme by giving your guests tasty cocktails, incorporating your colour palette and/or adding edible flowers to decorate their drinks, bringing your wedding theme together. This design would work wonderfully at a country house wedding venue with plenty of outdoor space.

3. Coral, light green and blue grey - Spring Wedding Colour palette

Spring is a season of joy, colour and playfulness. Consider adding spring blooms to your wedding reception decor to embrace the season. This colour palette of coral, sage green and hints of blue/grey is a cooler style. The colours work well together and create a modern fresh and natural pairing. It looks so pretty. For a colour palette like this, using silver accents will contrast well with the pretty florals.

Charger plates will help to add that extra bit of luxury to your wedding table and inlcuding a flower or foliage to decorate guests plates is a lovely, sweet touch. You can even incorporate floral patterns into your wedding stationery such as your invitations, table plan, menu cards and place setting to tie it all together perfectly. Let’s also not forget how striking the right ceremony arch can be, creating something unique and will double up as a great background for fantastic photographs.

These three Spring colour palette ideas should give you some inspiration of the best colours for a Spring Wedding and there are many more to consider. You can also find Spring wedding ideas on a previous blog post.
