Q2. Which areas do you serve as a wedding planner?
I'm a South East England wedding planner based in Kent, serving London, Kent, Surrey and the surrounding areas. I am also happy to discuss planning weddings further afield across the UK.
-
Q3. What makes Pearline Events different from other planners?
My difference lies in my decade of experience in the Civil Service, which has honed my laser-focused logistics, problem-solving skills, and a calm approach under pressure. This, combined with my supportive nature and 7 years of experience planning weddings, ensures you remain relaxed and in control of your plans.
-
Q4. Do you offer different levels of planning assistance
Yes, Pearline Events offers full wedding planning, partial planning and wedding day coordination and can also help with venue and vendor sourcing. All services are bespoke and can be tailored to suit your exact needs, with the option for instalment payments.
-
Q5. My venue already has a venue coordinator, so do I need a wedding planner too?
This is a popular question.
- Some key points to know, a venue coordinator does not work for you; they work for the venue. Their focus is to safeguard the interest of the venue, not your interests.
- the venue coordinator you are working with now, may not be the person who is assigned your actual wedding day. You may have someone else working as your venue coordinator that day, which can be unsettling for you. As the continuity is not there.
- A wedding planner works solely for you and your interests, looking at the whole wedding. I will be your go-to person for every aspect of your wedding. Guiding and supporting you in the run up to your wedding day, to help reduce any pressure. As your wedding planner I will be with you throughout your wedding planning journey.
- There are great venue coordinators and great wedding planners, but our roles are quite different. Read my blog post on the difference between a wedding planner and venue coordinator for more details.
-
Q6. What if I have planned my wedding and just need some help on the day?
I can help with that too. I offer wedding day coordination. I work with you up to 8 weeks before your wedding and on the day to help coordinate activities and tie off any loose ends so that you don't have to.
I will be there for you, to ensure everything is taken care of. As soon as you book my service, you also get my expert advice and support to help you through the last stages of your wedding planning.
-
Q7. Do you work on your own on the wedding day?
No. I always work with at least one assistant. For more complex or larger weddings (more than 100 guests), I will also have extra assistants on the team. This ensures that we have enough staff to be in different places in the venue, where needed, and provide a high level of service to you on your wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
-
Q8. How far in advance can I book you for my wedding?
For most of my services, you can usually book me up to a year in advance. It's important to do this, as dates do get booked up and I would not want you to miss out.
You can email me to check my availability and book in your complimentary consultation.
-
Q9. How much is the deposit?
Pearline Events wedding planning services require a 30% of the service fee, as a non-refundable deposit to hold your wedding date. After that, the remainder of your service cost is paid in up to three instalments. A monthly instalment payment plan is also available, on request.
The final balance is due one month before your wedding.
No booking is confirmed until the non-refundable deposit has been paid.

Q10. I'm not sure I can afford a wedding planner
Hiring a wedding planner is an investment. The value that I bring in the long run, will save you much time and stress. Through, the support and guidance that you receive and my proven approaches to booking great suppliers and effectively managing the logistics for you.
I appreciate that planning your wedding can be costly. That is why I give you the option to pay for most of my wedding planning services in two, three, four or six installments if you wish. This flexibility means that you can spread your wedding planning payments over a period of time. Please do get in touch to discuss.
